All dragon fire students are encouraged to compete in Martial Arts tournaments throughout New England and in Delaware.

Several DFMA students have competed overseas at the World Championships (W.O.M.A.A).

Hanshi Andy is a promoter on the I.P.P.O.N.E and S.M.A.R.T. circuits as well as a Team Captain for W.O.M.A.A. Team America and assists with and is a Judge for the Virtual World Championship - VWC. 

The DFMA Demo team competes in four I.P.P.O.N.E tournaments each year and DFMA hosts our very own Spooky Spectacular tournament each October. The Spooky Spectacular has 8 Grand Awards, an Extreme Kata Division and the beloved COSTUME KATA Division!
